Looks like the Pentagon’s changing the rules about women in combat, but yet again it won’t give us equality. The stupid thing is, of course, that women DO serve in combat roles, and that in other areas we prove ourselves equal at every turn.

I feel like I need to add to this.
I am a combat veteran. These wars that we are in are like no other…women are on the front lines. I was a prison guard and did the exact same job as my male counterparts. I was given no special treatment in Iraq nor did I expect it. I had a job to do and I don’t think my ladyparts should play a role in whether or not I can perform them.
The Pentagon needs to get with the times.
